I think he could get open a lot better than our current WR corps, but what's the point if he's just going to Lloyd the football.
He's only had one 1,000 yd season

Most of your arguement has everything to do with Hixon, Hixon, Hixon.

Otherwise, Oline is horrid this yr and needs revamping.

HCing change and QB change should resolve it's own problem hopefully at season's end.

I think the comment was more of an attack on our WRs coach than a defense of Campbell.

Newsflash: Not winning because of the quarterback is also an excuse.

Really good teams can win in spite of poor quarterback play. The Redskins weren't winning even back when Campbell was playing well every week.

Well Brandon Marshall wore out mcdaniels this offseason and he's doing just fine.. We took the top rated recievers in the 08 draft.. So I'm waiting one more yr with a decent qb to judge them.

Just because they were "top-rated" in the 2008 draft, does not mean that they are "top rated". They were just the best available in what most would consider a very "weak" draft for WR's.

Not saying either are a bust, but I do agree that one more year would help. Also a revamp of the offensive line would help. Kinda hard to evaluate these guys when the QB that is throwing the ball to them is running for his life.

Kinda like when Randy Moss was in Oakland and that O-Line. Moss was getting downfield, but by the time he got there the QB was already on his back.

"Lloyd" used as an appropriate verb. Nice.

And this is why I say Snyder has to stop thinking like he's still a fan and has to generally ignore the knee-jerk wishes of most fans. Do what's best for the team, and that's not always what the fans clamor for.

Re: Chris Chambers released by Chargers

At this point we should be playing the young WR's we have as much as possible to see if any of them can be counted on next year not picking up washed up veterans. Even if Chambers was a small upgrade it's still counter productive.
