Re: Jon Runyan

Why would we spend the money when we could get a younger guy in the draft? Besides, he's too old.

Re: Jon Runyan

Don't mean to pick on you Soul - Skins, but this thread implies:

1) You aren't familiar w/the Skins free agent history in the Danny era
2) You aren't familiar w/the warpath history of "vet minimum" threads

Hence, whether either of the above is true, this thread was doomed based on these two factors.

I was hoping the thread might be about the Iggles old free agents, Dawkins, Thomas & Runyon, & what they'll do w/them. I can't believe Dawkins is 35, that guy still plays like he's 25. If I were the iggles gm, I'd look to keep those guys & sign them to 2 year deals if possible. They have W. Justice waiting in the wings to play LT, remember Usi beat him for 6 sacks couple years ago!
they also have the #21 & 28 picks, it'd be sweet if they'd deal them for #13, but not likely.

Re: Jon Runyan

This is the type of move a team would make if it believes it is one player away. We don't need a band-aid, we need a commitment to get younger, stronger and better in the trenches. With that, I expect that our FO will go after another perimeter player.

Umm , I'm very familiar with F.O. and Danny's spending sprees on over the hill, ex-pro bowl type players, but I still think Runyan has a few good years left in him. Anyway, it was just a suggestion. Everybody RELAX. WTF.
Unfamiliar? Shit. The Skins are my life.

We don't really need or want an old, notoriously dirty player. Dallas maybe, the Skins, no.

Everybody sells their soul nowdays. Brian Mitchell, Trotter, Kalu, Shawn Barber. It's all about the money.

or you could throw batteries packed in snowballs....Runyan would be used to that from his Philly days. What a rich fan tradition in Philly...
