Re: Taking my son to the game

Rule of thumb:

* Don't take your child to a division game
* REALLY don't take your child to the Dallas game

Sounds like you got lucky, congrats. Club Level is probably a different animal anyway. The seats I have had at Fedex were literally the highest row in the stadium, freezing cold, and a falling hazard for a child (especially my antsy 2 year old who won't sit still), being like 30 steep steps up. That's to say nothing of the very ahem, "intense" language

It's also *very* easy to lose touch with an adult when the stadium empties and people are everywhere, that would be my biggest fear with any child. At least when they are older you can have a plan to meet somewhere if you get seperated, and they'll understand and do this.

Re: Taking my son to the game

If you're a HUGE Redskins fan, or have kids who love them....CLINTON PORTIS is now having a public meet and greet event!!

Washington Redskins running back Clinton Portis will make a personal appearance at The Athlete’s Foot (TAF) store in Warrenton, VA (Warrenton Village Center) to greet the public and award a regional winner of the footwear retailer’s In My Shoes back-to-school contest.

The In My Shoes campaign encourages students nationwide to aspire, achieve and excel this school year by inviting them to share their performance goals through written and video entries. Regional winners are awarded a meet-and-greet opportunity with a professional athlete from their area.

WHEN: Tuesday, October 30, 2007
Public Meet and Greet: 6:00 – 7:00 p.m.
Prize Presentation / Media Interviews: 7:00 – 7:30 p.m.
