Re: Brad Badger Released by Raiders

I think he was a backup for the Skins, but I think we should look at Oline towards the later rounds of the draft.

Completely agree. Vet minimum 1 year deal. If he outplays the other backups keep him, if not what really are we out? If nothing else he can play Tackle and Guard and he has been around awhile. Maybe a UFA rookie can pick up a few things from him.

O-line depth would be nice and if he doesn't pan out no big loss.

Yep...started 21 games for us from '97-'99, including all 16 games in 1998.

If you're an offensive lineman that gets cut by the Raiders, chances are you already have one foot out of the league and the other foot on a banana peel.

Re: Brad Badger Released by Raiders

I agree, why is it as soon as anyone gets released we are always saying should we pick them up. We want quality guys not just fillers. We need a starter and it would be nice to see someone young join the O-line instead of a guy who is on his way out the door.. we have tried that in the past with the Deion, Brice Smith thing. Lets look for someone young or get them in the draft.
