I don't think Howie Long is under contract with anyone.

i remember the one sack dalton got for us for some reason. it was like a stunt and he ran up the middle after our guy picked the 2 o-linemen there and he got a clean shot...dalton isnt the answer for this defense and he has already had a stint here not too long ago.

As of this week, the Redskins are #13 against the run.

Here's what the defense has allowed in each game so far:

vs. Vikings = 86 yards rushing
@ Dallas = 138 yards rushing
@ Houston = 61 yards rushing
vs. Jaguars = 33 yards rushing
@ Giants = 155 yards rushing

When good opponents commit to the run against us, they can ram the ball down the Redskin's throat. Against bad teams, and teams that don't really commit (like the Jaguars, only 15 attempts) they seem to be able to stop the run.

I don't think Dalton would have much of an impact either way.

And as much as I'd like to believe they've found diamonds in the rough with Golston and Montgomery, if you look at the roster, when Salave'a was injured, there was nobody else left to play the position.

I've seen Golston make numerous plays and he seems to fit our scheme. We try to play in the opponent's backfield, not just take up space at the line of scrimmage. We could recruit the dropouts from "The Biggest Loser", too. They'd be cheaper and just as effective as dalton...

What was the name of that X-Raider that we signed after he got out of prison??? I wonder what happened to that guy? What the hell was his name?

On December 15, 2005, Russell was a passenger in a car driven by former USC teammate Michael Bastianelli when it veered out of control, hitting a curb, trees, a newsstand, a fire hydrant, a light pole and an unoccupied bus. Both men were found unconscious and taken to area hospitals, where they were pronounced dead

Wow... I remember seeing the crash, and hearing it involved football players, but I never knew it was that guy... RIP

If Golston keeps it up he might earn a starting position next year. I really don't think Dalton will help out. Maybe if he was a DE. On the other hand the Bills just released Troy Vincent. He may be worth looking at. He's coming from the Bills where, I think he lead them in tackles last year. Plus our secondary coach knows him. What do you guys think?
