Sure hope Wright isn't this year's Warrick Holdman.

Re: Oh the horror!!!
I'm glad it's only pre-season and the very first game at that. More negatives than positives but that's what this time of year is for. I wish Jason had gotten the snaps Collins took because we all now see why he has been a career backup. I don't think he should be playing ahead of Campbell.

Re: Oh the horror!!!
Doughty definately got roasted on a play or two, but he was also in on a TON of tackles.

Re: Oh the horror!!!
i would like to see both campbell and collins take some snaps with the starters and see what happens. that way there will be no excuses. collins was horrible tonight. campbell looked alot more comfortable

Re: Oh the horror!!!
Before we get too crazy over the secondary, let's remember back to GW's first season when he left his DBs hung out to dry in a preseason game against the Rams just to see what they were made of and how they would react to a difficult situation.
We did some blitzing early on, but it seemed like the rest of the game we were pretty basic on D. I'm assuming GW wanted to see what some of his new and young guys would do when left alone on an island with little help. I wouldn't worry about it too much. These games are for evaluating individual players, not team results. |
