Zing. Even though I prefer razor-maintained.

Well, its not that easy to trade down. Apparently the Jets were being somewhat stingy in what they were offering to move up. Maybe they wanted Brick from the start.

Pretend like you know what you are talking about......

Back to reality, word here in Houston is Casserly is in line to get a high ranking positon with NFL. Since Tags is leaving there will be some major reshuffling with NFL and Casserly is rumored to be in the running for a high position. NOT to be commish, but something of high rank.

casserly ressigned days before the draft began. he's aiming for VP of operations or some such for the NFL. this was never a surprise.

Re: Casserly Gone from Texans

Casserly was gonna be gone no matter what pre draft according to PFT. You can put any draft reasoning you want on it, but 4 straight losing seasons=changes. This had nothing to do with Mario Williams or Reggie Bush at all.

Rather, I do believe that Mario Williams had something to do with this. It's not a pick he would have made if he wanted to keep his job.

According to Pastabelly, Williams was neither a Kubiak nor a Casserly pick, it came from McNair himself. Sounds like he's taking cues from the other Texas owner.
