Re: For the record!

It's been a very long time since I actually felt like we've got a legit shot going into the year. It feels great but there is alot of work to do and Brunell's health is probably the key IMHO.

The best part for me is that I work with both Giant's and Cowboy's fans who for years have given me a ton of crap about the Skin's. Now...things have changed. Even they know better than to bet against Joe Gibbs with this much talent and these assistant coaches...I can see it in their eye's...I love it!! I just keep saying, "are you going to bet against Joe Gibbs?" They just shake their head's and keep their mouths shut for a change.

This is the year I get the last laugh....For me if we win the NFC East and beat the Cowboys and Giants...I'll be a happy man...when we win the Super Bowl it will be icing on the cake. Beat them and we're on our way because the team that comes out of our division will represent the NFC.

Re: For the record!

I''ll keep saying this right up until September, the season NEEDS TO START!!!

I just hope the team says healthy as a unit for a long post season run. I'm not talking about major injuries, but jsut the smaller nagging injuries that build up over time and really hurt the team in hte end. I feel like last season was like that. If the team stays relatively healthy I don't think anyone can stop them!

Super Bowl's in Miami right? I'm sure we'll all love to work on our tan in the middle of the winter.

Re: For the record!

Each year we win the Summer Super Bowl and I head into the season thinking we've got a shot. I believe, but the guffaws and belly laughs my friends (Cowboys and Eagles fans) give me tells me that they don't think we have a shot. Well they have stopped laughing, and I'm sensing a little fear from them.

And they should be scared. In three wideout sets Moss will be uncoverable now that defenses have to account for Lloyd, Randle El and Cooley. If Sean Taylor stays out of jail, defensively we should be a nightmare.
