LaVar will without a doubt have to reconsider his contract as well as his roster bonus due this spring (something he origionally said he wouldn't do) Having to deal with the Postons might prove difficult. |

Re: Ramsey or Arrington?
I ramsey wanted to stay like lavar wanted to stay he would stay. When asked about what would happen during the offseason ramsey said i don't know. we are talking. Then when asked what he wants to happen he said I don't know. Ramsey is asking to be traded. There is no reason why we wouldn't want him here but he doesn't want to be here. If ramsey doesn't want to be here i think he should be allowed to be traded.
Arrington wants to be here so bad he will take a reasonable pay cut. When was the last time some one was willing to take a PAY CUT to be with the washington redskins? |

Re: Ramsey or Arrington?
They're both gone IMO. But there's still a small chance Arrington will renegotiate his contract.

Here's my list of possible teams, but he would still compete with the incumbent: Miami Jets Detroit Buffalo (maybe Oakland) not likely... |

I think they will both be gone but there is no way PR will be back, I think there is a 25% chance LA will be back.

Re: Ramsey or Arrington?
Definitely Arrington becasue he wants to. Rasamey wants out and we have seen how Gibbs handles a player that wants out.

I think Arrington will be back. His 2nd year back from injury he will be out to prove he is better, faster and stronger. It may be hard to find a good trading partner for him. Ramsey is not going to like backing up Campbell and we all see it could be coming. There are a couple of NFL QBs that have done well without being able to move, Bledsoe & Marino come to mind. Ramsey throws a missile and believes he is worthy of a starting job. Therefore, I would say Lavar would be back first.

Re: Ramsey or Arrington?
I say 80/20 Arrington is back.
Ramsey is more like 20/80.

Re: Ramsey or Arrington?
Arrington because he is someone who can still help the team next year. I love Patrick Ramsey, but next year is either going to be Brunell or Campbell. I think Ramsey has pretty much been writen off as having a future here anymore. I really wish him the best in the future though.

Re: Ramsey or Arrington?
first of all,how can anyone chose ramsey over lavar?we all know what #56 is capable of,can the same be said for patrick ramsey?im not down on ramsey, but we really dont know what he can do in a pro style offense with protection.lavar has already been to 3 probowls so we know what we got in him.on the post article,i would say there is no way in hell the skins down right release ramsey.in my opinion,he holds high trade value to the right team

Re: Ramsey or Arrington?
if ramsey stays another year he'll have no trade value and be free to leave. Arrington has less trade value than he should right now cause of his massive contract and non-full recovery. If arrington takes a pay cut it may be enough to keep him or at least buy a year where he could really push his value to the point where his contract (minus the SB since the skins pay all of that) would seem really attractive (and our cap hit another year out would be far less).

Re: Ramsey or Arrington?
First, I voted that I think that Arrington will be back with the Skins next year, I really hope that he is. I know people think that he is not very good or whatever, but if we cut him or trade him then who do we get to fill that spot?
Also, I want to say that I hate how our Front Office has this uncanny tendency to show our hand way too early. Arrington does have some of a trade value but that has ben damaged not only by Arrington, with his contract and recovery problems, but also the fact that it is no secret that the FO is thinking about dumping him. "There's still a market for him," said one AFC general manager who spoke on the condition of anonymity. "But there's also a feeling that they'll eventually end up releasing him, so it's hard to get value for the player." http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn...011802276.html
