Re: Another Clown Sighting
I'm sorry but neither of their starting receivers are that scary. Hasselback won't have the time to look for them when he is being punished by Griffin and the gang.

Re: Another Clown Sighting
He calls Matt Hasselback "Matthew"? Matthew Hasselback? Just sounds odd.

Re: Another Clown Sighting
That prediction goes hand in hand with Mathew's prediction in overtime 2 seasons ago, when he said after the coin flip "were gonna win" and preceeded to throw an INT for a TD to LOSE!
I just love how Holmgrem get's his team focused and ready to play, it's nice to know the KICKER is motivating us with locker room wall material. Thank you! |

Re: Another Clown Sighting
What's amazing is that a position player would never show such disrespect to an opponent - only someone whose uniform doesn't get dirty when he's out there would suggest that the 300 lb. men whose job involves high speed collisions are less than able to perform.
You have to remember that, though football is a team sport, the loss in week 4 can be blamed solely on Brown. He does his job, they win.

Re: Another Clown Sighting
Here is what needs to happen....opening coin toss, we win the toss with Lavar, Portis, and Taylor out there as our captains. Referee..."Kick or Receive Mr. Taylor?" In response as he spits on the ground..."It don't f*ing matter if we kick or receive and turn around and walk away". Pardon the language, but a tone must be set at the very beginning.

Re: Seattle Kicker Brown Talks Trash About the 'Skins
why is it that I keep hearing players and the media say Simms had a pretty good game against us? Last time I checked, throwing the ball 38 times for only 198 yards and 2 ints was actually a pretty bad game. Maybe it's cuz it was his first name or maybe it was because of the opposing qb Brunell's rather sad stats, I don't know. And how much would anyone here wanna bet if it had been a big name cornerback like Bailey, Law, or Barber, who made the play Rodgers made to hit Shepards elbow and the ball to keep Shepard from getting a firm hold on the ball would have gotten mad props? Even though it still would have been seen as a missed oppurtunity, there would also be more than one person in the media praising the effort. I think this team is used to not getting respect and that's what has helped make the defense as good as it has been. I think this game will be close but I also think the skins if they play to the level they are capable of as a whole team, it could turn into a blowout.

Re: Seattle Kicker Brown Talks Trash About the 'Skins
I, too, think this game could be a blowout. We're gonna shut down Alexander, and last time I checked, Our entire "banged up" secondary will be ready to go. Also, I seem to remember us beating the shit out of the last 4 NFC West teams we've played--including the Seahawks. We had a huge lead against the Seahawks last time we played them, then Gibbs underestimated their offense and played crazy conservative, until overtime where we dialed up a 30 yard pass to Moss and won. He will not let this game get to overtime.
