If Paul Ryan jumps in he probably will be an instant front-runner and severely diminish the chances of Romney and Perry. He is a slick numbers talker and he doesn't say outlandish crap the public can easily comprehend and research.

Paul Ryan would get annihilated in a general election.
Republicans have to do real real well with conservative leaning seniors to even have a shot at winning and his Medicare Plan is beyond unpopular. |

I also don't think any of the current candidates can beat Obama no matter how bad the economy remains.
That's how pathetic this Republican field is. |

Paul Ryan is a ****ing idiot that is trying to peddle the "Trickle Down Theory"
Yeah, this guy isn't going to give the rich yet more tax breaks while the middle poor class slip even further into oblivion. Corporate toadies like this need to be tarred and feathered and kicked in the ass.

I guess Ron Paul doesn't have the "look" to be nominated or elected President. They say people vote for the people they can align themselves with, which telling of how many idiots America really has. Because many are willing to vote for Bachmann and Palin.

Funny if your health ins was like Medicare everyone would be bitching up and down. How many of you have to currently buy additional health ins. to cover all the shit your health ins does not cover? I'm guessing none but no one has a problem paying for medicare all their life then when they need need the ins it covers so little they need to spend $500 a month for additional coverage. Thats f*&^ing pathetic if you ask me.

Not one candidate can or will bring the troops home any faster than the current timetable. End of the year for the remaining Iraq troops and a draw down in Afghanistan through next year.

Re: Meet The Candidates: 2012 GOP Thread
Ron Paul’s new ad. He’s burning some bridges but he obviously has the right to be pissed off and so do his supporters. He got kicked out of debates and straw polls in 2008 because he doesn’t fit the status quo and was attracting too much attention, and things are on pace for the same to happen this go around. Honestly it says a lot about our media and the republican party to treat him and his supporters the way they do.
Rolling out with this ad says a lot to me. Supposedly the Republicans cant win the presidency with him so they just completely ignore him. But I would say they have better odds of winning with him then trying to win if forced to go against him if he jumps on a third party ticket. Im wondering if hes trying to set the tone that hes not willing to sit back and be a nice guy this time around like he did in 2008. At his age I don’t think hes going to accomplish much more in his political career and he may be best to go out making a strong statement; like taking the presidency away from Bachmann, Romney, Perry or whoever else gets the nomination by running on a third party ticket. I think the republicans have to walk a thin line and try to keep one of the most principled of politicians happy. As of right now I think Ron Paul running (one way or another) is sadens best chance to win a 100 dollars, and of course use it to take a republican friend out to dinner……

It's a contrive and insufficient explanation. It would be preferable if he simply didn't add any earmarks or add them and vote for the bill.

Rick Perry: "Evolution is a theory that's out there," Perry said while crouching down to speak to the boy. "It's got some gaps in it."
