Right, it's all on him.

We'll see what happens if a change is made.

As for the D, what was their excuse earlier in the year when they were a lot healthier than they are now??

Brunell should not have been the starting QB this season, he wasn't that good last year.

You add supposed play-makers to the offense and the result is 2-5.

What's the common denominator?

well that was the same offense as last year Matty. or are you saying adding Lloyd and Randle El really screwed up the chemistry of the whole offense?

weak argument on the defense, you call having Springs and Prioleau out "healthy"? even if they were healthy and playing they are clearly NOT the same defense as last year. Harris and Clark were both clearly overlooked here and they've been playing real well where they went.

Hey, they fought their guts out though, right? Right?

What the hell is up with going for a field goal on 4th and 5 and down 19 points in the 4th quarter?

I've also heard all year how losing one guy on defense shouldn't make a big difference.

Let's face it, both sides of the ball has major problems. And with Novak, even the special teams is screwed.

It really wouldn't have mattered anyway.

We lost this game in the first 5 minutes of the 2nd half when the Colts went up and down the field with ease.

um, i don't know where you're getting that "losing one guy" from.

we started this season without TWO of our starters, plus Joe and Corn have been intermittent all year, with a revolving door of new guys in the secondary. we all know why the defense is sucking.

ALL our starting offense is playing, and unless Al Saunders' playbook is 700 pages of dumping the ball off to the back or the sideline WR comeback....most of us here know why the offense is sucking.

Re: Skins at Colts game thread 10/22/06

I think I'll just express my frustration through the magic of smiley's.

Mark Brunell should be . We got our . I am very . Our season has gone . This is the est team I've watched yet. We are the :smashfrea of the NFL. Danny, you're a real winner. Didn't anyone ever say you shouldn't try to build through free agency, you should build through the draft. It's so pathetic how ridiculous this team is. When i watch the games i fall because that's how boring our offense is. Watching the skins play makes me . There goes our playoff hopes. I wonder how many times during a game Joe Gibbs goes :frusty: . All the other teams are at us. The skins are full of when they think we could go all the way. Do you know how many times I during a game? Enough. I am very about the state of our team. The at Redskins Park. Watching us play makes me want to :vomit:. This is making me feel slightly better. , nuff said. I just put that there just because. we really suck.

We started the year down Springs. That's one starter, unless I'm missing someone.

Look, I agree that the injuries have hurt us defensively. But still, even when they have been relatively healthy they have not performed well.

Prioleau and Clemons are key GW guys for this defense--"system" guys--they're absence I think is underated.

we started this year without Prioleau who played a ton last year on passing downs. i think Salave'a and Griffin played together only once this year, and the new acquistions on defense have turned out to be (expensive) downgrades.

i think we'd all also agree the offensive acquistions have been UPgrades, but we can't confirm it because neither them, or our incumbent playmakers are getting enough of the ball.
