I've been spending the last few days looking at top songs from other countries and for the most part have found a lot of good songs. However I've also learned bizarre things as well. The following isn't exactly my cup of tea music wise but at the same time they make Slipknot look like a solo act. In fact it would take over 5 Slipknots to surpass this group.

AKB48 is an all-female Japanese theater/idol group produced by Yasushi Akimoto. AKB48 currently consists of 48 members divided into three teams: Team A, Team K and Team B. Each team contains 16 members. Unlike other idol groups in Japan, AKB48 is theatre-based and has their own theatre in Akihabara (a district in Tokyo) where they perform once every weekday, and twice on both Saturday and Sunday. The theater is set up in on the 8th floor of Don Quijote (store).

So I was trying to figure out if women were more emotionally attached to children then men were. One of the answers really stood out to me and it went as follows:

Yes, they are, on average. From a biological perspective, it probably has something to do with the fact that a woman can make at most one baby per year, whereas men can theoretically make as many as they want. Hence women have a lot more invested in their kids' survival. Because of that, women have different hormonal balances to make sure they care for their kids, etc.

Obviously, it does not always work like that, but on average there are differences between men and women, and fathers and mothers. Also, in other species such as certain birds, fathers may be just as or more caring than mothers.

In reading that I thought wow, that sounds like something I would have written. This person sounds a lot like me.

I'm a female-to-male transsexual and my wife is a male-to-female transsexual and we have a 22mo son together. I was gone for months driving a truck while our son was only 3-8 months old and my wife stayed at home with the baby... obviously, we're one of those exceptions.
