Re: Around the NFL week 10
Probably because we have a horrible track record against rookie QBs and DeSean Jackson has burned our secondary when we had a decent secondary.

Re: Around the NFL week 10
Vick could be done for the year. Question is was that his last game as an Eagle?

Re: Around the NFL week 10
Quick hire him, he's probably an upgrade over Smith.

Probably so, I don't see him returning next year

Houston at Chicago | Sunday November 11, 2012 | NFL - Yahoo! Sports
I know it was raining and there were 2 good defenses, but this is one ugly box score for the QBs. Schaub - 95 yards, 1 TD, 2 INT Campbell - 94 yards Cutler - 40 yards, 2 INTs

Last night I said Chicago was the best team but I just don't trust jay Cutler in big games.

Jacksonville hasn't done much to help itself - Grantland
How this Jaguars GM still has his job is beyond me.

Re: Around the NFL week 10
They are just working their way up on the food chain till they get to Rivera. He's without a doubt gone after the season.

You can scratch off Washington off that list. Mike isn't going anywhere much to the displeasure of Goat, Punch, and GTripp. The only way is if Mike walks away.

Re: Around the NFL week 10
I think alot depends on how we finish out the year and who's available. DS doesn't want to look like his old self but if there is enough displeasure with the fans...I think that lets him off the hook. Can't believe everything you read of course but I don't think he was to thrilled with Mikes remarks after the Carolina game referrng to now evaluating who's gonna be on this team next year. No matter how he meant it....it did sound a little like throwing in the towel on this season.

Vick's criminal past not-withstanding, and I don't even want to debate about right or wrong concerning him, i think it is truly sad that a week ago his brother Marcus was on twitter saying how bad the eagles line was and that he didn't want to see his brother have brain damage by the time he's 40, and here Vick is at 33 and he may indeed have suffered brain damage (albeit minor) yesterday. If Reid is retained by the eagles, I believe that Vick will stay with the eagles and re-negotiate his salary to be a transitional guy until Foles or whoever is ready. If Reid gets canned, then I think Vick might end up in Arizona or Minnesota, if he is able to come back at 100%. Seriously with all of the hits he's taken and especially now with maybe facing brain damage / post concussion syndrome i wouldn't be surprised if Vick has thoughts of retiring, as he has young children, etc. not worth getting permanent brain damage to continue to play football.
