Probably a reason why you don't hear those birds chirping anymore. Dude made Polumbus look like a all-pro last night, and Polumbus is a 3rd stringer at best.

With 5 of our games against the NFC East, if we could just clean our act up (and get better safety play), we honestly could make a respectable shot at a 7-9 to 9-7 type record. Both Philly and Dallas are also 3 win teams, with clear weaknesses, NYG is obviously the best team, but they seem to be starting their typical November slide, Cleveland is beatable, so that leaves Baltimore as the biggest challenge, and one I doubt we win as we have been playing.

Let's hope the bye week is our friend.

I said that when I heard the whistle and they even confirmed that about 3 min after the play. I couldn't figure out why the coaches did not react more when this happened.

Because our coaches suck!
At the very least Shanny should have huddled with officials to see wtf just happened

Re: Around the NFL Week 9

It is amazing how badly the NFC East is compared to expectations. Also surprising is how strong the NFC North looks, and they might get 3 playoff teams. Biggest surprises have to be Tampa in the NFC and Indy in the AFC. 2 teams that no one thought would be competitive, and they both have legitimate playoff aspirations.

10 teams look locked into the playoffs already with only 1 spot in each conference genuinely up for grabs.

I don't think our Offensive line is bad outside Polumbus. Montgomery is playing at a pro bowl level, and they are all meshing together very well. I'm hoping J. Brown comes back and plays at a all pro level, but it's unlikely. He was inconsistent last year, and even though I believe players can get better. It'll take a while for him to get back in to the grove/mesh.

All speculation of course.
