'Los uses a scale in which it's his pay relative to his peers. What he wanted was 10 million per, give or take a couple. Instead, it's 7.5 million per year, and that's if he meets all of the non-guaranteed incentives. To him, he got paid, but not as much as he wanted. But since he really has no more leeway to bitch about getting more without screwing himself, he took the deal.

Re: 2012 NFL Free Agency Tracker
Completely Agree... Royal is nothing special, and I don't like that he'll get more money than he should be worth (3 yr 9 mil)... I'll bet in a couple hours he'll be signed, but overpaid... Earlier reports said he agreed to a 2yr 12 million, which was fine w/ me... But because Royal hasn't agreed yet, the FO will give him a contract he's not worth; Synder won't take a FA out to Morton's without them leaving the restaurant a Redskin.

A. He, K. Williams and Dareus (is that his name) can terrorize Brady B. And to keep him in the AFC

Re: 2012 NFL Free Agency Tracker
I'm thinking he's mostly a Banks replacement honestly...
We have Garcon, Morgan, Hankerson, Gaffney already as top-4 WRs. But his one year playing under Shanahan was great.
