Re: Around the NFL: NFL Offseason
Ownership forcing a young QB on their newly hired coach. Hmmm, where have I heard this song before?

Re: Around the NFL: NFL Offseason
I just went off of Overthecap's number, and it looks like the could push 26Million out over the next few years. But yeah you would think eventually it would crash around them.

Re: Around the NFL: NFL Offseason
I like to think that RR saw this coming and bumped the price on Cooper with no intention of signing him.

Thats normal restructuring. But Jerry Jones added another voidable year so the now bigger singing bonus could be more watered down. I never heard that before. Hopefully Lawrence continues to regress! |

Carlos Dunlap released.
https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/...-carlos-dunlap I could see the Ravens calling him but I hope Kerrigan gets to go there. |

He looked like he could go at least 1 more year watching the SB but I think father time might have an argument with him beyond that. No matter how hard he trains his throwing strength is the biggest factor now and that could easily drop off a cliff in the next 12-24 months. All credit to him if he makes it, but I think 3 more is a real push. |

Teams add voidable years all the time, it lowers the annual average of the signing bonus cap hit and thus provides cap relief. In English it usually just means dead money in the future, like the recent Rothlis-raper deal. |

Re: Around the NFL: NFL Offseason
A 1st rounder traded for a 7th rounder after only 1 year. Titans even threw in a 7th rounder next year to sweeten the pot.
Wilson must've been a real shithead. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/...miami-dolphins
