So, who died and told you that you have an eye for talent? Is that what you do for a living? Scout NFL players?

Re: Return Of Lavar

Redskins_P - Lavar makes huge plays, but he also makes just as many bonehead plays where he over-runs. The question isn't his talent. It's the ratio of physical attributes to millions of dollars. You want to complain about our cap situation? Look straight to #56 who if we go to cap hell will be because of his bloated contract above any other player.

Daseal, I understand where you're coming from. But, I was just asking that question because none of us here are Pro Scouts. We're just fans with different opinions.

I respect your opinion and Offiss's, but don't come in here acting like you know more than the next guy. We're all on the same boat. We're just fans. Know what I'm saying?

Re: Return Of Lavar

Well - If we get rid of speculation this site would be renamed redskins.com and it would be boring. Offiss stated his opinion, and in my estimation, did a good job. We're just fans, but most of the people here (and I'm not including myself) really know their football. We all watch the skins games (often more than once) and we all observe things about them. The problem is - we aren't ever willing to admit the bad. LaVar is a great athlete no one disputes that, but I feel his contract is too big and for the way LeMarr Marshall was playing we could have dealt him and been a more complete team (that was till he got his ginormous contract.) Objectively we could probably field an all around better team without LaVar, in my opinion. He's exciting to watch, and the media latches onto his personallity. I'm just curious if with all his Redskins talk how willing he'll be to restructure again in 3 years.

I'm not talking about speculation. I'm talking about someone here claiming they know more than the other.

And, of course this site would suck if we didn't speculate.

I'm not touching this thread anymore to avoid any problems. Like I said, we're in this thing together. I think we can all agree that we disagree.

And about Lavar restructuring in 3 years, you're right it would be interesting to see how much of a "real Redskin" he is by helping the teams salary cap. But that's another story for another day.

Offiss, I respect your opinion and I hope Lavar can prove both you and Daseal wrong. If he doesn't, then I will let you guys know that you were right. For now, I'd rather focus on discussing our problems on offense than one player on defense.

Peace fellas.

Re: Return Of Lavar

LOL... I actually did get some done recently. If you've noticed how sporatic my posts have been, you'll notice that because my office has been temporary moved for painting and my "online activities" are closely monitored. It didn't keep me from bringing the laptop around with me today though.

Re: Return Of Lavar

Offiss is the do all and end all of football knowledge. So we should just stand by and listen to what should be done.

Aren't you the guy who want's to draft all defense this year? You did say you wanted to go with a DE and CB with our first 2 pick's didn't you? Brillant! We have 1 of the best defenses in the league and 1 of the worst offenses and you want to draft defense????? Maybe you should take your own advise to heart? Or better yet keep working on that Gerard Warren for Coles straight up deal sound's like a biggie!
