A few months ago they moved some people around in our office and in doing so they put this chick in the cube across from me that had previously been empty for 3 years. Luckily she mainly works from home, but when she's in I have to spend half the day listening to her yell into the phone. Sometimes its about work, sometimes its about how much money her mom stole from her dad before she fled to Florida to live with married boyfriend, but it's ALWAYS annoying.

My office is usually very quiet so how this chick doesn't get that she is extremely loud is beyond me. The only good news is that we're moving to a new building in a few weeks and she's in a unit that is going to a different division in a different location so I don't have to hold off flipping out for much longer.
Same problem here, got this lady that thinks it is fine to talk through cube walls vs. getting up and going to talk to the person.

Last Friday I said to her please get up and go speak to the other person you are distracting us all form our work. No word of lie for the next half hour I got about 15 thank you emails from folks around me.

She started doing that earlier today but the person she was yelling to had enough sense to walk over and talk face to face.

Honestly ever workplace has them it is like a quoter that ever office has someone you just want to beat the living shit out of. If your office doesn't have one it is probably becasue you are the one ever one wants to beat the living shit of, you are just blind to the fact.

Re: The Workplace

I wanna know a SAFE, and HARMLESS way to give somebody bad diarrhea. I work with someone who is disgusting about flatulence, and I want to teach them a lesson they will never forget.

I am not interested in poisoning someone for obvious reasons, but i am wondering if there is a safe but effective way to do it.....

I would think any kind of laxative would work, especially if the person doesn't actually need it. You need NYCSkin to chime in, I'm pretty sure he (possibly she, no offense one way or the other) is a doctor.

Just don't go overboard or you can make them sick.

Re: The Workplace

I hired a girl today and I think she has a glass eye. I'm surprised she didn't ask if we had stripper poles in the office.

Re: The Workplace

At my old job some lady was really annoying, she didn't bother me, but she had burned a lot of bridges through out the office. Someone on a hot day poured a few cans worth of tuna fish water into her car through her cracked windows.

Really though if you are going to those lenghts to piss someone off you are the loser. Sometimes you just got to take the high road and ignore them as hard as that maybe.

Not yet. You do know the part about the stripper poles was a joke and came from this thread. After today I figured out she has a wondering eye and the funny thing today she was talking to our only customer that I know of that has the same problem. Its wierd because one eys looks the other way and its hard to talk to them. The girl I hired yesterday is only training here at the office today and will work from home after that.
