Re: Redskins Cowboys post game

i'm still not sold on Breelands coverage ability. he got lost on the Witten TD and gives up too much cushion.
With that said, he is all hustle. He saved a TD by chasing down Murrey from across the field and he loves to go for the strip. he should've had two interceptions and that is costing us. he should have 4-5 this season but those hands of stone....

Morris is a fumbler and we got lucky he didn't lose one today. he needs to get out of his funk.

Better blocking by the TE today.
Meriweather did a great job not losing Romo.
We need to blitz him more often.
Robinson also played very well.

The pressure helped limit the Dallas WR's so I think we shouldn't give too much praise yet. hopefully we keep blitzing, we really have nothing to lose at this point.

My question is does the head coach get a chance to tell him no? Weeden was throwing fine, may have cost them the game

Im sorry, I dont want Bruce or Dan on the side line telling Jay who to play...its crazy but this guy gets a pass for some reason

I also have to give credit to Forbath.
No kick returns and made the biggest field goal of his life.

The back to back plays against Dez on the goaline were straight ballin. He's on an island with a top 10 receiver. Breeland is making strides, I see nothing but positives.

I'm not as impressed with Haslett's game plan as some of you, mostly because he let both Murray and Randle average over 7 yards per carry. If Dallas sticks with the run at the end, they likely walk down and score. I give props to Haslett though for his blitzes. 4 of those 5 sacks came from the safeties and inside linebackers.
So I guess you think our D should be the 85 Bears or something? Dallas has a really good offense so you know going in they're going to make plays. You simply can't ask more of the defense last night.

Why would anyone ever think such a thing?

1. "Media Partner" pay-for-access scheme.
2. Taking away Washington Post tickets in revenge for negative articles.
3. Buying local media outlets ostensibly to provide "unfiltered" news to fans.
6. Arbitrary bans of media members.
4. Confiscating anti-Snyder/Vinny signs at Fedex (looks bad on TV).
5. Other stuff that I've forgotten.

There is a culture at Redskins Park that sometimes causes a rush to judgment.

Garrett has no balls. He's Jerry's bitch. Imagine if Jones did that same thing to Johnson, or even Parcells during a game? There would have been a fight right on the sideline. He never approached those guys during a game cause they demanded respect. Garrett doesn't.

Hear, hear! Haslett needed to take risks to hold down the score. He did and it worked. We beat a better team at their place last night, in large part because of a bold defensive game plan and a big effort by the defensive players. Give Haslett his due!

Morris did not fumble. He hit the ground and that caused him to lose the ball. Down by contact. If he actually fumbled then you have a point, but he didn't.

In this day and age when your defense holds a team to 17, especially on the road, then no excuses, we should win. Your right, cant ask anymore of the defense, plus they cause some biggggg turnovers

Lots of gushing over Colt from skins fans and lots of mocking from nonskins fans. I don't get it. We had two delays of game and blew 4 of our 6 timeouts on alignment/play call/play clock issues? We had a busted play where colt was the only one not on the same page as everyone else, assuming that was the play he referenced calling wrong in the huddle during post game?

The people that think he's better than Griffin are ridiculous.
That's a coaching issue as much as Colt's in fairness. The plays come in too slow and late, but the bigger point is in that situation, super load stadium with QB's first start, you see most coaches go with a no huddle pre-planned set of plays.

We wasted a handful of plays last night and gave up penalties and yards. But the team, defense especially, overcame the self inflicted setback. Gotta love it, best game for me since 2012 baby!

[EDIT - Missed the post with the answer.]

But you're right... it goes one of two ways. Either he never had possession and it's not a catch, or he had possession and it's a fumble out of the endzone.

I guess the case **could** be made that he had given himself up, but I don't know how you can come to the conclusion. Guy had stood up and got popped.

Should have been a safety. Just like the hold at the end of the game.

I'm not a big conspiracy theorist but we seem to get the short end of the stick on refs more often than not. Last night was atrocious.
This. One of the worst called games (against us) I can remember in Snyder's ownership.
