Re: Redskins at Bears Post Game Thoughts
I Was just able to watch the game for the first time. Honestly not a bad performance by RG III I was expecting some horrible performance he wasn't nessecessarily bad, but it wasnt great either.
I am not going to heap much negativity on the team considering who they were playing, what if any type of game plan they had to play Chicago, and we really don't know what the coaching staff was trying to accomplish. The defense looked bad at times but what was Haslett's plan for his defense? Who were they trying to evaluate and in what situations? This is preseason and there is far more we don't know about the schemes to take to bashing players coaches or to fly off the handle about bad play. Cousins played well and especially in the fourth quarter against whoever the Bears had out there. I liked the Robinson and Briscoe sightings. BB flashed in the return game but he does in preseason and hasn't carried it over to the regular season. I am wanting to see Crawford with the first team in game three. Cedric Griffin is pretty bad and is a liability against top flight WR.

Re: Redskins at Bears Post Game Thoughts
Positives:
Cousins Aldrick Robinson 2nd String OL Kehl Crawford Negatives: 1st string OL (only 2 regular starters) Cedric Griffin (cut him now) RGIII (the OL didn't really help him) D.Hall (Big mouth, cheapshot who can't tackle)

It'll be interesting if shanahan decides to start cousins in the next preseason game. After all its preseason, so there's no harm in preparing your second string qbs to take over in the event of rg3 getting injured midseason.

I wonder if C. Griffin was signed to make the rest of the secondary look better. He was pretty awful.

There is harm in it as well considering game 3 is usually considered the warm up for the regular season, and our rookie needs all the game reps possible. If anything it will be interesting to see if he starts game 4 which is usually the game that the starters sit out entirely.

Re: Redskins at Bears Post Game Thoughts
I would be shocked. If anything, RG3 needs more snaps with the first team to get chemistry down. Any inkling of Cousins being more ready to lead this team over RG3 is quite frankly insane. Not saying your implying this with the post iamsrk but that's what the notion would be if it occurred. Counterproductive on many levels.

Re: Redskins at Bears Post Game Thoughts
Especially considering the team is selling 35$ tee shirts pumping the great preseason rivalry of Luck vs RG III.
