re: New Games on the Horizon (the video game thread)
Anyone playing Dead Space 3 yet?
I plan on getting it, I'm just going to wait for the price to drop. |

re: New Games on the Horizon (the video game thread)
Already started my 2nd play through, beat the first one 7 times and the second 3 times. It's no where near as scary as its predecessors, but the story has more depth to it to flesh out the trilogy. Also some new additions like the weapon bench and the semi free roam availability with optional missions really do a nice job of adding to the expirience.

Just finished up Uncharted 3 last night.
Man if you have not played that series you are really missing out on a treat.

Re: New Games on the Horizon (the video game thread)
I can't help but feel the PS4 announcement was kinda meh. Nothing groundbreaking or overly innovative.

Plus every new game said it be built for PS4 and PS3. I love my Ps3 for everything but gaming. Only games i have really played on PS3 is Uncharted. hopefully the 720 is more ground breaking. To be honest it will be along time before i can get either. with two kids a new house and just life in generally a new console is not in the budget.

Sony seems to have lost their edge. Not sure this new console is going to help them get it back. Can't wait to hear how much the new gen games are going to be. $70? |

Re: New Games on the Horizon (the video game thread)
None of the new PS4 games really looks that good, except for Watch Dogs. I ain't gonna lie, I'm gonna be all over that one. But I think it will be available for current gen consoles too so I'm going to have to debate whether it's really worth getting a PS4 for, especially considering my money is tight and I'd have to save months in advance just to buy a new console. Honestly I'm not really feeling it, unless the drop off is big enough between the 4 and the 3 I'll probably just go for the 3 version. I can definitely see myself waiting a long time before buying a 4, I waited for 3 years to buy a PS3 after it came out anyway and right now I'm plenty satisfied with the 3.
