I knew Mark had a great number of surgeries when I said that, but I've never heard of Mark playing on a tore MCL or ACL. It's why I stipulated "very serious" as a context. I no doubt believe Mark probably played with a great deal of pain, but the fact is he was still able to perform his job at a high level.

Seems to me that Mark missed his share of games. Why didn't he tough it up and go out there like a man??

Also, of those surgeries, how many of them were major ones? Reconstructive ACL? MCL? Were they just scopes to clean up debris in the knee? It matters. Again, not slighting Mark, but he really should keep quiet about others not playing with injuries when in fact he's missed games himself.

I am sure there are many situations when players played injured that we won't know about. Just because you haven't heard about, it doesn't mean it didn't happen, especially back then. Hell, didn't Nick Sundberg played with a broken arm for almost an entire game? I know he is no RG3 (although ask the Raiders how they lost a game this season b/c of their snapper getting injured), but that should tell you about that player mentality.

You're probably too young/dull to get the humor.

But yes, mormons are widely known to be extaordinarily friendly.

And no, I'm not mormon. Though I've known many having lived most of my life in the northwest.

Moving on...

And you're probably too much of a moron to make a comment like that in jest. See, not all Mormons are nice.

You're not really an a$$hole IMO, you just play one in real life.

Re: Lost Some Faith In Shanahan

This whole thread has turned into a real hen house. Peck Peck Pecking at each other. Goodness!

RGIII is superhuman, his knee will heal up, and this season will go down as one of the coolest in Redskins history. 3-6 to playoffs! Winning a playoff game would have been icing on the cake. Atlanta would have been a tough match for us anyways. A lot of receiving weapons. Where will we be picking in the 2nd round?

Re: Lost Some Faith In Shanahan

How do you get your age to pop up on your page on the left hand side when you post? Some people have it, some don't, its not even an option in my About Me section? Always curious to get a feeling for who I'm reading/talking with.

Sorry to get off topic here!
