400 block S. Parrish St., Wednesday, Sept. 28, 8:50 a.m.: A couple argued. The suspect threw a pipe at the victim, missing her but shattering the glass in the oven door, and then threw furniture and a lamp, which also missed her. He was arrested.

S. Regester Street, 500 block, September 15, 9:10 p.m. A man told police he had been drinking with a female friend who said to him, “Come outside; I have a gift for you.” When he went outside, she hit him in the head with a board. He told police he had no idea where his friend lived.

N. Rose Street, 500 block, August 24, 8:45 p.m. An elderly man told police he and his wife were in front of their house and two suspects approached, then threatened the man with a gun, saying, “Give me money, old man; I’ve got a gun.” The elderly man’s wife saw what was going on and beat the suspects with her crutches. The suspects fled with the man’s wallet, with the wife in pursuit.

N. Belnord Avenue, 400 block, August 12, 6:08 p.m. A man told police a second man had approached him, saying, “I don’t like you.” The other man replied “I don’t like you either,” at which time the suspect stabbed him.

100 block S. Broadway, Sunday, Aug. 7, 12:12 a.m.: A woman told police that a man she didn’t know bought her a case of beer for her birthday. When she tried to go back into a bar he got angry and hit her over the head with two of the beer bottles, causing cuts to her face and head.

Also, good shit ATM. I loved the one about the woman inviting the guy outside to give him a gift, and then hitting him on the head with a board.
