Donovan McNabb of Minnesota Vikings defends motion, footwork - ESPN

Doesnt sound very coachable, maybe the reason he's no longer here

I thought it was a better fit and they would tailor the offense to that bloke. Leslie and McNabb were going to shag like no other couple ever has done this season. It seems like someone's forgot their mojo.

McNabb is too good to be coached up at this point. It's his way or the highway. He didn't get to where he is today by listening to coaches and their jibber jabber.

We all know he can run that two minute drill just like Peyton Manning.

Seriously? Not trying to rip on you but this is the AROUND THE NFL thread, where we can discuss opposing teams and opposing players, which includes former Redskins. If you don't want to talk about McNabb, don't. Nobody's forcing you to.

Speaking of McNabb, where we have we heard this before?

Re: Around the NFL week 3

i never noticed just how bad his footwork is on some throws and the correlation to his tendency to throw wormburners until he got here. i still think he was a heck of a QB but am amazed how he was able to not correct or be forced to correct something like that for so long in the NFL. its just mindblowing that he seems to absolutely refuse to hear any criticism or input on changing his footwork.

I know. He was here one year. It's not like we're attached to the guy. His days of being a starter are numbered.

I'd say that they're right on par with the always slow-starting and somewhat overrated Chargers right now, and very capable of surpassing them if they can stop with the penalties. Run Dmac might just be the best back in the league. He's got everything. He can catch and pass protect like a monster too, things that AD wasn't quite that good at.

Jason Campbell leads the league in roughing the passer penalties | ProFootballTalk

I find it funny that the NFL has given JC one of those short skirts.
