See I kept saying lets just trade him to the Eagles and get the best deal. They want him, his old DC or line coach needs him. No one else was going to give us a better deal.

So again what is stopping the Patriots from now makeing a trade with the Eagles for a higher draft pick?

I keep repeating this, but the Patriots are not playing the 3-4 that much and last season they play a significant amount of 4-3. They've been losing their 3-4 personnel. Darth Hoody is a guru at defensive scheming and has the tendency to adjusting his scheme to player's strengths. AH aside, I wouldn't be surprise if this season they go completely 4-3.

I would be curious to know if there was a better offer from the Eagles, if there was an offer at all.
