Looks like you goofed on the first sentence, but yeah I get what you mean. I don't play a lot, all that I got was Madden and I pretty much suck at that. Will probably pick up a couple of used games that I can just throw in and mess around with, GTA IV and the like. Not into shooter games for the most part.

Shameless self-promotion. It is what it is.

Whats everybody's throughts on Dead Space 2? I got the first one on PS3 and loved it. Playing DS2 on 360 now. Aside from being too hard i feel, i really love the game. really scary. I love survival horror games.

I just finished DS2 a few days ago. Great game, loved the first one too. A couple of pages back in this thread we were talking about it.

You sound like me! Half.com is a great place to find used video games for dirty cheap! I just ordered GTA IV for the PS3 a few minutes ago. Bought a "like new" condition with shipping cost me around $14!

I suck at the shooter games on game consoles.

re: New Games on the Horizon (the video game thread)

I suck at shooters too. I have the PS3 and love it. I got mine when they first came out and she's still going strong, knock on wood. I have been most recently playing Madden 11 which I bought used, Fallout New Vegas, Gran Turismo 5 and the Fight Night demo. Wow do I suck at Fight Night lol. I think I've fought about 40 3 round fights and have won maybe 5. If anyone is interested, my PS3 user name is terpfan76. Add me if you wish.

I'm waiting patiently for MLB 11 the Show. MLB 10 was awesome. Oh, Uncharted 3 and Dragon Age 2.

re: New Games on the Horizon (the video game thread)

So I have been downloading some demos and playing them. I downloaded Mafia II, and main, I LOVE that game! I don't like the language in it though, but other than that, it's fun. Although I do suck at shooter games, I was slowly learning to control the guy better, so maybe I'm starting to get used to shooter games on the console. I will probably wind up getting that game soon.

The other demo I really liked was Heavy Rain. It was pretty simple to play (the demo told you which buttons to push, not sure if this is true in the full blown game.) The graphics were awesome and the story line seemed really cool. That game is also on my list.

Last night, I downloaded Bioshock (another demo) and will try it out. Oh, also downloaded God of War III. It's OK, not really my cup of tea. But, one thing these demos have gotten me into doing is to go back and finish the games I hardly played before (like Bad Company and Call of Duty.) I just was too impatient in learning how to maneuver my guy especially in the battle scenes.

Heavy Rain to me was a just so depressing, I seriously never got into that game. I did finish it and quickly sold it.
