Trust me, I'll be rooting for him to fail cause I hate the 49ers as much as the Cowboys. I've put up with a lot of shit during the 80's, I'm not sure if you can imagine what it's like living in a city were your team is not from. I want the skins to be great under Shanahan, I hope he can pull it off.

Oh man I know your Pain I had to put with Dallas shit in the 90's so I hope they fail to. After Dallas one last week I got all kinds of calls from Idiots gloating that they had a better record than us and you could here in the background a Redskins suck chant.

Who knows. His brother went from special teams coach to successful head coach. Not your standard course.

Also, while I have no ill-will to Harbaugh, I too have a secret, strong dislike for the 49'ers.

Hopefully Bellaire Ohio's Nate Davis gets a chance.

^ no chance bigred..

I just don't agree with all the Lebron James type hype for Jim, he's a good coach but cmon he's not Vince Lombardi. I'm stickin with my guns and say this experiment will be a failure.

Cowher is probably happy in the booth anyway. Tomlin is showing fans that it might have been more of the FO and the players assembled than it was Cowher.

What is even more funny is that the Univ of Michigan offered him a bit more at 5.2 million a year and he flat out rejected him. U of M better hope Brady Hoke can work his magic at the Big House or they are screwed.

Well, the Steelers also gave Cowher a helluva long leash and he didn't win until Roethelisberger carried them to the Super Bowl... and then the refs and running game bailed Big Ben out.

Yeah, extended through 2013 and with more personnel power, though Ireland will hold final say as before.
