You guys should listen to the former linebacker some times. THAT guy and his partner have such an agenda.

The "punishment" by the league : "It's like getting a ticket for going too fast on a road a week ago and they changed the speed limit today"

Re: Riggins rips Haynesworth... Takes shot at McNabb

Riggins stance on Haynesworth is flip floppy at best. I was reading his facebook page last week and he was stating that they should just get AH on the field, now he wants him off the team less than 6 days later. Take a stance and stick to it.

I like Riggo as a talking head and it seems when he was on Sirius he was much more of a homer, but now that he has a show in DC it seems as though his commentary is much harsher than the past. (FYI I only know of a small sampling of his local radio show so don't beat my comment up to much)

I don't get to listen to his show much at all being down here. I catch when I am in the DC area though. Get alot of his comments second hand on the Warpath.

I did enjoy the "Sandy Baby" comment, even if it was completely inappropriate.

I guess he's always figured, it someone doesn't like what he says, he'll just plow them over.

That only works on the field, John.

AND if I hear one more guy state that Dan Snyder still runs this team I am going to flip out man. DS has taken a huge step back from any football related decsions but talking heads still caring on with the "Dan is making the descions mantra". When will that little tid bit end.

FYI not talking about Sirius NFL Radio as most of those guys are constructive and informed on all the teams in the league.
Now the only football talk I listen on the radio is the Football Today podcast. I like Matt Williamson a lot and he tends to talk mainly from a football standpoint (he's a Stats, Inc. guy). The only time I listen to Mike & Mike, is when they have someone like John Clayton or Mort on. They are pretty annoying sometimes.

It's not the same thing really. While it was annoying, he at least had a bit of a point about Zorn and Cerrato (can't remember what he said about Campbell). Who knows what his point is about McNabb being a good politician. And what he's saying about Haynesworth is somewhat laughable because he was once that same guy

1. Theismann

2. Lavar Arrington

3. John Riggins

(All three of them are egomaniacs as well.........)
Joe T. is a Redskins home to put all of us to shame. He's never predicted less than 10 wins and is blindly optimistic.

Yeah, last week he was wearing a Free Albert shirt. Now he's bashing him, i dont really get it.

In his defense this was from an interview on someone else's show, so it may have been one of those "set up" type questions. Also you kind of have to listen to Riggens for a while to take him in context. He will say brash catchy type things then lay out thoughtful reasoning secondly. I used to listen to his show all the time untill they stopped airing it in Richmond. Back then his show was really good. I remember thinking he was surprisingly smart and knowledgeable.

Snyder's Simulcast Plans Center on WTEM - washingtonpost.com

I posted in a thread a while back. After Snyder expanded his radio company he temporarily put John out of work. Maybe Riggo just bashes the Redskins and Snyder now partly due to that?

If the former linebacker is actually who I think you're talking about, he's moving to the washingtonpost. Don't know exactly when, or if he'll be giving up his gig on radio.

He'll keep his radio gig, just adding a blog on the wapo. And also will be doing commentary on some of their webcasts and videos on their site

Snyder has little to nothing to do with the decisions the radio company makes. Anyhow, Riggins can say what he wants I suppose. But the shame of it all is that he wastes the valuable input he can offer when he wastes everyone's time with comments like these.

LOL...He's just having fun though I'm not sure he merits the attention Skins fans give him. I'd rather he tell us fun stories about the good ol' days but whatever.
