Re: Riggins rips Haynesworth... Takes shot at McNabb

So tired of Riggins. He just runs his mouth to keep himself in the news and for ratings. But AH is a loser and we never should've signed him and although McNabb is an upgrade over JC I'm not sure we've got the players around him to be a SB winning QB. Put McNabb on Minnesota and it's a different story.

And he wonders why he can't find a good job in broadcasting.

I am sick of hearing his alchie voice. Its like Theismann, and how he badmouths the redskins every chance he gets. I now can add Riggo to the list of ex Redskins that I can't stand.

1. Theismann

2. Lavar Arrington

3. John Riggins

(All three of them are egomaniacs as well.........)

Theismann bad mouths the Redskins? In what universe?

Theismann is a true Redskin through and through. I've never ever heard him say a bad word about the Redskins. If anything, he goes overboard with praise the majority of the time.

McNabb will be fine guys. He's a stud QB and gives this team a chance to win any game on our schedule. JC could never do that.

Riggo hasn't changed. He's been saying stupid stuff for years.

Unfortunately a $21M check and getting nothing of value in return for AH makes it a little hard to just kick AH out of camp. Nice vote of confidence for our QB for probably the next 3-4 years. And I'm pretty damn sick of Favre too, he's just not nuts, he's a self-centered a-hole.

I totally think John Riggins is out of line, and making an ass of himself again. McNabb, went to the super bowl and lost, with a chance to win at the end. I think McNabb's best attribute is he is a winner. With that said, Sunny Jorgenson and Joe Thiesman, and some that I never saw before have played for this franchise that would make you statement very debatable.

Add Slingin' Sammy Baugh to that list. McNabb may be good, but not that good. He's have his Jekyll/Hyde moments folks. There will be times he's on fire and other times he's utter suck.

At least Riggo is being constructive and helpful.

He told the truth about Haynesworth. I think his comment about McNabb is being overblown. All he is saying is that he doesnt think McNabb will win a superbowl.

Honestly, I think the sports reporting on the Redskins in this town is horrible. Granted, that the Redskins haven't given anyone a reason to cheer. But you can only take so much of the type of negative and demeaning comments that people on the radio make about the team.

I despise the Sports Reporters, everytime they discuss anything Redskins related they act like total pricks. Kevin Sheehan tends to do the same thing. Not that everything has to be rosy and positive, but talk some damn football. In the offseason I listened to ESPN Pittsburgh football talk through podcast, and it was completely different. They actually talked football, and not talking about the Steelers like they were TMZ or something.

Here, Here. Those guys bash us any chance they get. Even this past Sunday. I can not stand some of the commentary these guys bring up, there are plenty of positives from this past offseason.

AND if I hear one more guy state that Dan Snyder still runs this team I am going to flip out man. DS has taken a huge step back from any football related decsions but talking heads still caring on with the "Dan is making the descions mantra". When will that little tid bit end.

FYI not talking about Sirius NFL Radio as most of those guys are constructive and informed on all the teams in the league.
