Its a little pre mature to predict a 1-4 start when your in the pre-season. Lets not loss sight of that. This although has been a really bad outing and a disappointment for all it is what it is pre-season. And of course you want your "dress rehearsal" to be a whole lot better than this. Lets not get carried away.

We can get things 'clicking' just as fast as this butt whipping we are receiving tonight. This could just be the fire they need to get it together, the coach's will have no mercy.

Wow, they were on pace to score like 70 and will probaboly only score 47... I'm really proud of the way our defense played right to the end and fought their guts out.

Somebody left the intensity cream back at Ashburn. These guys didn't want to play tonight. They tanked it.

Exactly..Your up by 40+ points have some class. Its not like the game is in jeopardy and besides that its a preseason. Him and Bellicheck are a-holes!!

The only problem with the "this is just the preseason, hahaha" talk is 2006. We were coming off the playoffs (just like now), installing a new offense and playcaller (just like now), and the Patriots in the 3rd game exposed our new Strong Safety (just like now).

The regular season is less than two weeks away and the o-line struggles are preventing us from really getting a look at the offense. Meanwhile, the constant three and outs kept the defense on the field and even though we had two starters out the starters who played struggled with tackling, DeAngelo Williams broke three tackles on a 50 yard run up the middle! Reed Doughty is doing an impersonation of Arche Deluxe, Kareem Moore is reading angles like Helen Keller, and those guys who aren't watching the game think that those guys who are are overreacting to a 47-3 score. It's 47-3 and it really isn't even that close, even though this was the first game we game planned.
