Re: Very Early 2008 predictions.
I predict that the Skins will make at least 1 off season move that will be hated by the majority of Warpathers.
I predict there will be at least 10 prediction threads between now and opening day. I predict that Peter King will continue to be a douche bag. I predict that there will be more posts about Chad Johnson than all the players actually on the roster combined. I predict this will be my 300th post. |

Re: Very Early 2008 predictions.
You mis-read the dice. It's 12-4.

Re: Very Early 2008 predictions.
i'm looking at what should be a cupcake schedule next year barring any blockbuster trades by the raiders for a 4th round pick again...but last year we did crappy against the cupcake teams and won games where we should've probably lost. heart says 11-5, brain at least 8-8

Re: Very Early 2008 predictions.
The offense is going to struggle. The defense could regress back to 06 form. 5-7 wins.

Re: Very Early 2008 predictions.
Well, I like the 18-1 picks as long as that 1 is not the last game we play, I will take it. But probably 10-6, and in the playoffs, remember everytime the Giants win a Superbowl, we get one the next year, so really they should just book the parade now... lol.

Re: Very Early 2008 predictions.
Someone needs to pull up the old threads from last year and see how well everyone did.

Re: Very Early 2008 predictions.
Honestly I think we need a bit of luck this year. I think the Redskins are due for some good fortunes that some teams have had with their first year coaches (like New Orleans with Sean Payton, or...well I was going to say the Packers with McCarthy...but he did well his second year...oh well). I think if the front office has another good year (of not overspending or giving away picks) we may have a good year.

Re: Very Early 2008 predictions.
12-4. Greg Blache is going to keep the defense in tack, and Jim Zorn will challenge Jason Campbell to quiet all of his doubters and Jason will not be the best QB in the NFL, but he will be a great compliment to Clinton Portis.
Jim Zorn will do something for Clinton that Joe Gibbs couldn't, adapt his playbook to Clinton's running style. Jim Zorn will be a great coach, I am fully confident in that now, at first I wasn't but as you look at it and think about it, it just slowly makes sense. |

Unless your are suggesting that he brings Carson Palmer with him...in which case that's still pretty insane, but not quite as bad. Point is, if you truly think we are a 6 win team, then you can add Ocho Cinco to the mix...and maybe---maybe we can be a 7 win team. A 6-10 prediction takes a totally different roster than a 10-6 prediction. Unless you think that Johnson is bringing luck over with him.
