I'm tired of waiting.
That's why I am annoucing that I am putting my name out there. I'll work for peanuts too. Literally. (The Planters Dry Roasted / lightly salted kind)
It'll save Mr. Snyder some money and I'll learn a lot. I like learnding. learnding is fun. Send me a private message on here Mr. Snyder. I'd post my phone number, but I don't trust half of these people. But I do trust you, Mr. Snyder. So come on. It'll be fun. If we lose the first game you can fire me. But seriously now, hire Fassel. |

Re: I'm tired of waiting.
If after all this waiting they hire Fassel it seems like they will have already created a lame duck coaching situation. Why would they do that?
Still hoping for a surprise like Meeks or maybe Zorn getting his second promotion in two weeks. |

Re: I'm tired of waiting.
I was just thinking the same thing. If he really wanted to hire fassel he would of hired him by now. Who else is left?

Re: I'm tired of waiting.
I have to agree with Skins fan 44. Snyder keeps dragging this damn process out. He knew from the start he wanted Fassel. He wanted Fassel 4 years ago before Joe Gibbs popped up again. I can only think of a handful of people Snyder may want to interview, such as Russ Grimm or possibly Marty Schottenheimer (I know I'll catch flak for that comment). If you listen to the John Riggins Show, Kevin Sheehan has said it best - this town will revolt if Jim Fassel is named the head coach. But, like most places, if Fassel is hired and produces winning football, it will all be forgotten. Just my thoughts.

Re: I'm tired of waiting.
Perhaps he didn't anticipate the reaction to Fassel so he decided to drag this out until people started complaining about the length of the process and would be happy with any hire. Brilliant PR move?

Re: I'm tired of waiting.
I dunno. Maybe Snyder should wait till after the draft to hire a head coach. Then, if nothing really materializes he could just "stand in" as HC for a few games to see how things play out. You just never know how much talent you have as an HC till the opportunity comes.

Re: I'm tired of waiting.
Yeah, I agree with others sentiment that he must have someone else in mind. Fassel must be so frustrated. What if he pulls out of consideration b/c he is tired of getting dicked around with? What if NOONE will take the job? I know that wont happen but it would be funny/devastating. I think at that point we'd have to go knock on Danny's door and ask for our team back.

Re: I'm tired of waiting.
I think we are all on same page - we all are pretty tired of this chaos.. One thing I am concern about is free agent.. The longer we drag this out, the more it would be difficult to look for players in free agency.. (I am not saying that we would go on shopping spree in free agency - I'm talking about players for depth..)

Re: I'm tired of waiting.
I thought Mooch pulled out? Or Snyder decided that he didn't want him?
