Injured Moss welcomes bye week

Injured Moss Welcomes Bye

He should be alright after having an extra week to rest his groin.

Shameless self-promotion. It is what it is.

Yeah, what is up with him dropping balls this year? He went from Steve Smith, to Terrell Owens.

I think the receivers are still adjusting to the kind of ball that JC throws, and he's not always the most accurate on the shorter stuff.

The funny thing is, it's not just Moss and Cooley. Every game I've watched this season has had it's share of drops from #1's and #2's. It doesn't make any sense. I know that a football can be tricky to catch sometimes, but if you're making 100k+ per game to make four or five catches, you should work on it, so the drops don't happen.

Re: Injured Moss welcomes bye week

I love Santana as the deep threat in our offense, and I love him as a player, make no mistake about it, but the nagging injuries he continues to have to deal with are a concern. He was experiencing problems even in the OTA where there's no contact. It's so early in the season, and think this could be a problem because he seems to have a history. Regardless of how good a player is, if he can't be depended on to be on the field, it limits his usefullness.
