Leader In Sports & The Card Cellar are going to be hosting a food drive & fund raiser to help this cause. On a weeknight in early November (date TBA) we hope to have 5 former Washington Redskins signing autographs. 100% of autograph ticket sales go directly to the purchase of turkeys for the foodbank. The projected cost of an autograph will be $10. That means for every autograph purchased, TWO families will have a turkey on their table for the holidays. Our confirmed guests so far are: PERRY BROOKS DARYL GRANT CHARLEY CASSERLY (hopefully more to be added - keep an eye on the website for more information) http://www.leaderinsports.com/7.html |

Re: Brian Mitchell Event
I got the love for B.Mitch. I have had the pleasure of meeting him quite a few times and each time he seemed like a cool guy. He took time to chat with my daughters and take pictures with them and overall was pretty cool to them.

Well he's one of my all time fav's. Great player when he was with us and one of the nicest guys i have met. If I didnt have so many sigs of his now I would be going to the event. I am looking forward to the Hauss/ Talbert coming up next month and the Thanksgiving one in november. I agree with one of your comments on another thread about the current players. I would much rather meet and ole timer anyday. Maybe if these young guys stay around for a while then I might be interested in meeting them. |
