F... Wal-Mart
Do I even need to elaborate??
Ok I will... Great prices, but the the place can be a damn freak show with the people who shop and work there. Why do they have like 50 cash out lanes and only 2 are open at any given time? |

Re: F... Wal-Mart
I cannot visit Wal-Mart on the weekends. I might as well just walk from my house because I swear I can see people parking in my driveway to get a spot to walk to Wal-Mart.

Re: F... Wal-Mart
its probably the same in every wm but our local one has demo games in the electronic dept. and its like parents use that as a babysitter while they do their shoping. you cant even get through to look at what games they have in stock.

Re: F... Wal-Mart
The only Wal-Mart in MoCo is in Germantown, so of course, every hillbilly, redneck, and cornucopia of ethnicity comes out of the woodwork to shop there. The only time I go is if I absolutely have to, and someone's holding me at gunpoint to do so. And the store is always in such disarray.
Wal-Mart is a great place to go at 2am, because it's empty and those in there will amuse you, making it a better experience.

I like to play kickball at Wal-Mart at the time. Always a fun game.

Re: F... Wal-Mart
When I was in high school, one of my close friends worked in the toy department at Wal-Mart. So we not only used to get discounts on stuff...but every once in a while, we'd give him something to do. Kickball, bike riding, and toss back and forth between aisles were big games. We also used to take random toys and put them in different aisles. Hula Hoops make great frisbees...

Re: F... Wal-Mart
I'll leave my thoughts on this subject alone. I've been a vendor/sales merchandiser in different wal-marts for 4 years.

Re: F... Wal-Mart
late night drunken trips to Wal-Mart are some of my best memories of college. There is no joy like the joy of riding a little girl's bike full speed into a huge basket of kickballs at 2 in the morning.
just so everyone is clear, the Wal-Mart in Germantown has nothing on the wm in Salisbury, which in turn, has nothing on the wm in Pokamoke. I think you're actually allowed/encouraged to smoke in the walmarts on the eastern shore.

Re: F... Wal-Mart
Anyone else hear about the kid who spent his spring break at a Walmart?
http://www.desmoinesregister.com/app...ON01/603270342 But, the real reason to hate Walmart is their torture of innocents. Lets all get behind GFS and end the abuse: http://www.petlibrary.com/goldfish/walmart.htm |
