I think those might be old but here is a link at the top five of each drill for yesterday. I would love to get Brandon Marshall in the 5th or 6th but his stock might have just went up. He came in at 6'4"+, 229 and ran a 4.5, 37 inch vert. They were callin him baby TO and it wasn't because of his problems. Greg Jennings from Western Michigan migh tbe another nice pick up in a late round.

There will be no good wr's left at 53. we should take D'qwell jackson. MD was not good this year so he didn't get recognition, but he is smart, works hard and is a great tackler. he would be MLB which would allow us to move marshall to the weak side. much like merriman this is a guy who will make an instant impact and early in the year was projected mid first round. Go Terps!

Does anyone else want bloom in the fifth or sixth? Good return guy to replace thrash and can fill in as a speedy #4 or 5 WR.

i like the story, but i think there will be a lot more talented guys than him available. he's projecting as a 6th rounder right now.

I like the idea of having a Wayne Cherbet clone down the road. I also like his attitude. He said in an interview "I try to play like a #1 but I train like I'm #2." Wonder if he got double digits on the Wonderlic though. However I'd also like to get Michael Robinson in the 4th or 5th round as well. But then again I'm the same idiot who got mad when Mike Williams wasn't drafted by the skins.

BTW. I'm not sure but I think Bloom got a 4.48 in the 40. Don't hold me that though.

McClover ran a 4.65 and had a 39 inch vert. I would love to get him.

Re: Who would you pick in the 2nd round?

how about Devin Hester. Cornerback from Miami(Fla). Should fall to the second round. runs a 4.33 40 and is an excellent kick/punt returner also which we need. Does not have great size but neither do our other corners. This is definatly a position we need young depth at especially with the expected realease of Harris and I think Springs will be 32 years old.

read his bio. this guy has been all over the field. Not sure what he did in '05 but i saw highlights of him on espn running a punt back for a td

He is real fast but not the greatest CB. He didn't even start at Miami. I would rather try to get Blackmon or Phillips in the 3rd.

Apparently Blackmon's having an identity crisis. Can't decide if hes gonna be a Reciever or Corner. However as we saw last year with Denvers noble 1st day draft experiment that quality corners can be found throughout the first day of the draft so I'm on board with a guy like Blackmon. Hester would be hard to pass up on the second day but then again he is Deions understudy.

Re: Who would you pick in the 2nd round?

CB is a position where i'd draft speed, cause the technique is pretty teachable (as long as they aren't afraid of contact).

blackmon is trying out as both, but he's made it clear he's more of a corner than a WR (though he can do both for your team).

I like J joseph and gerrick mcpherson (2-3 and 5th round respectively).

lawson (which i had slightly behind mcclover) just ran a 4.44 40 and placed first in the 20 yard shuttle, meaning he has great burst AND long speed. I'm all up on that.

Cocong (DL) looked really good too (he's the guy that had 60 tackles for loss and 23 sacks in ONE year). Haralson also looked very quick, but i'm not sure he's big enough.

Re: Who would you pick in the 2nd round?

I think with the speed Lawson showed he will get drafted as a OLB in a 3-4 before we pick anyway. Hester ran a 4.4+ which isn't very impressive considering there were rumors of a sub 4.3 and alot of guys did run in the 4.3's. If we could get Kelly Jennings in the 3rd he could be a steal. He ran a sub 4.4 and tested real well, plus he is actually a good CB unlike Hester.

I agree... but man, there's going to be a lot of good players left in the 2nd round this year.

Re: Who would you pick in the 2nd round?

Honestly I think the Skins need to be lookin at a CB, S, OL, or LB. I think the issue concerning WR will be answered with free agency. If not, then what we have will have to do. Hiring Al Saunders, is again the most important move we have made thus far, just like when we hired Gregg Williams. This guy can make it work.... he can watch and study players and find out what they are best at and fit them into a system, just like Gregg Williams did with Pierce, Bowen, and Clark... Just look at the chiefs, they made it work with the players they had at the WR position, but they had no talent, at least we have MOSS and patten, and COOLEY. The focus will be on the running backs. I would look for Portis and Betts to be catching alot more passes this year.
