For a AAA title there are alot of lazy programming in it. There are tons of zombies but really only 3 types (looks wise). Consistently having awkward moments where i walk through a wall or mountain side, just weird shit. IDK, just being picky i guess. I need to finish up Days Gone, then finish out Horizon Zero Dawn. I think after that i tackle RR 2. though Matty made me feel guilty with his one post about doing you tube workouts and not movies/games all day. LOL!

I tell you, I haven't played a game where the ending pissed me off more FC5.

I just wanted closure, you work your way to the end and then you don't even get to kill the leader? Lame. I think it was a business decision by Ubisoft to get people to buy New Dawn.

Re: New Games on the Horizon (the video game thread)
I don't blame anyone for not liking the ending. The game gets a lot of unfair hate though just for the ending. Overall it's a blast.

Re: New Games on the Horizon (the video game thread)
That new trailer looks fantastic, buuuut I feel like AC has really fallen off in the last few installments. AC2 was the only game I ever got a Platinum trophy in in my life, and it's been downhill from there. The last AC I played religiously was Black Flag.
I'm excited for the new one, and I'll buy it for sure but I'm not falling for the hype anymore. Speaking of Ubisoft products I just bought FC: New Dawn. Need something new to play.

Re: New Games on the Horizon (the video game thread)
Yeah I would say so. There's a modern-day backstory to the games but I think they've basically gotten rid of it the last few installments because nobody was a fan of it. If you've never played I would say skip AC1, honestly that was super repetitive and boring to the point I wasn't planning on buying AC2, but AC2 was fantastic (and probably my fav. game in the series). Brotherhood/Revelations are ok but forgettable, 3 is ok, Black Flag is probably my 2nd favorite in the series, and everything after that is forgettable. If you were gonna pick any of the recent ones I'd say go for Syndicate. The setting is London towards the end of the Industrial Revolution.

Re: New Games on the Horizon (the video game thread)
Me and my 8 year old daughter are playing Minecraft together. A little annoying bc she insists I stay right by her side and if a bee gets near her, she gives a curling scream and will turn off her tablet.
A bee. A make believe video game bee. So instead of exploring and venturing out, we build homes and gardens and farms.
