The lone bright spot..

SEAN TAYLOR! He played like an absolute beast. He was the only one flying all over the field trying to make plays. If you doubt me, go back and look at the game (if you dare). At least we had ONE player hustling. I friggin' love this kid! I KNOW, I know...It doesn't overshadow the vomitous display from the rest of the team, but he was the best player on the field for the Skins yesterday.

Re: The lone bright spot..

wasn't he responsible for some of the long runs for taking bad angles?

He had a several plays he took bad angles on and had 3 tackles and 3 asist. If anyone was a bright spot it would have to be Clark with 11 tackles and one int., but this team played so bad i would take back some of the game balls given out last week.

I haven't been able to bring myself to watch any of the "highlights", but one of my friends told me this morning that on ESPN they showed some clips of Taylor taking some horrible angles.

Re: The lone bright spot..

In all honesty, I would like to see the ST replays. However, I cannot risk seeing a highlight, as it would bring me off a very expensive Wellbutrin induced bender, and put me in another suicidal tailspin. Perhaps one of you techie types could edit out the ENTIRE team except for Sean Taylor. That could be this weeks highlights?

Re: The lone bright spot..

Taylor did have that idiotic late-hit penalty that led to a field goal in the first quarter. At the time it seemed big, but of course, that's when the score still was close.

Re: The lone bright spot..

How about this for a lone bright spot?

Our coverage team didn't give up any huge returns. If anything, our special teams coverage has been excellent. At least Morton didn't do much.

Re: The lone bright spot..

Sean Taylor played a horrendous game...bad angles on all the long runs..he missed several tackles that I can recall....He even had a costly late hit. He was awful. There is not one person i would say played well...

Re: The lone bright spot..

Sean Taylor played bad, but I can't count how many missed tackles I saw by the entire defense!! Maybe they all had snot on their hands, because the D could not tackle and the O could not catch or hang on to the ball. Gezzzz!!!

Re: The lone bright spot..

i love ryan clark. He is up there with my favorite players. Also he is underrated by our very own fans. He and sean taylor are an amazing duo at safty. Ryan had the best game by far, he was the only bright spot

Re: The lone bright spot..

start ryan and bowen? seriously, aren't safeties supposed to stay back and provide a net when the front 7 screw up? it seems like once you break the Dline its a home run.

Last year we gave up 1 big run all year i think, and now we're giving up 2 a game... piearce is better than marshall, lemar is better than holdman, smoot is better than the two guys replacing him and warner/evans may be a better combo than daniels. I'm just a bit upset cause our defense turned to trash against the run this year after putting up steel baricades last year.

Re: The lone bright spot..

The point I was making was about hustle. He may have missed some tackles but wouldn't have had to, had the d-line and linebackers been doing their job. The late hit call was absolute bull crap. This game is getting sissy-ish.

listen dickwad. don't come here after your team wins, come before and after. Skrew you, you aren't a fan, you are a fair weather whore. I hate you people that only come after your team wins. You have no valuable opinion or you would have shared it before the game. you make real fans sick
