Re: Cousins has arrived
He's young and should get better each year.
He did what he did with a young Oline and no running game this year. He's definitely got more risk than the Brady / Brees / Rodgers tier. He's probably not as good as the KC supporters think He's probably not as bad as the haters think He'll get paid, but agree $17-18 million is reasonable, and put in escalators, bonuses, whatever to make the sides meet. And each year the cap goes up so a longer deal that we can get out of if necessary may be better for us (IF he is a legit starter) BUT here's the question - why do any of us care? We have TONS of cap room, none of us should care if they overspend on him by 1-2 million. It's Snyder's money and if McC continues to draft well our team has lots of rookie contracts which are cheaper. |

Cousins has arrived
Quote:
His numbers over the last ten weeks of the season and the facts about no run game and a young oline (you can throw in a bad D because a good D keeps the O in rhythm and gets u better field position at times) suggest he is as good as us supporters think. Edit: remember when people were saying let me see two good games in a row, well he gave us several. |
