It's absurd for you to even mention this piece, let alone for the guy to actually write it.

There is no basis for fact in the entire thing, no quotes from inside sources, nothing. It's all bullshit speculation and completely preposterous.

We should demand better from our posters here.

Not passively. Aggressively. I'm telling him that this is garbage and he shouldn't be posting it.

Nobody should. Don't we all have an internal bullshit meter? If someone writes a story with no facts provided or sources quoted, then isn't it painfully obvious that it's nothing but click-bait??

Since when has that stopped anyone around here?

The story is garbage (as is most modern sports "media") but not much different then a bunch of other articles.

I think you were right about calling not having an initial link, but once posted, it's the writer's fault, not someone here at the warpath, that the article is full of hearsay, rumors and idiocy.

And that article will obviously be discounted by most.

I hold a higher standard. You gotta be able to detect bullshit and keep this place clean of rumor-perpetuating nonsense.

From the article -

The most economical decision he could make would be to throw himself down a flight of stairs in Ashburn before the team has a chance to waive him.

Yea...wtf...thats a horrible article.

For one thing, QBR takes into account situation. Since the Vikings find themselves in winning situations fairly often because of AP and a strong defense, he's just asked not to screw it up. He keeps turnovers low.

He also does a good job drawing pass interference and taking advantage of free plays (like when Rodgers always goes downfield when he knows he got the other team to jump offsides). And he's not a total statue, he has run for a few big first downs.

I like to look at all the different QB stats and Teddy is much lower on Football Outsiders DVR/DVOA stats and the ole nfl passer rating but Kirk is still around 7th.
