Oh, I definitely agree. I would love to have someone who was AS talented as Sherman on the field, but not Sherman. I think in time, he'll prove to be a cancer.

He's not worth that high pick, he's had one good year and yes CK is a very avg passer I agree

crabtree is a great WR. his college numbers were ridiculous, and i'm sure (barring injury problems) his career will bear that out.

If Sherman were a Redskin we'd all love the guy. Dexter did the same kind thing stuff, although not to Sherman's level. Plus sticking a microphone in front of a player after an emotional game is stupid.

No, I'd still think he's trash.

I guess you liked Michael Westbrook too.

Sherman's a classless idiot. He's talented, to be sure, but a complete jerk. I hope Peyton lights him up for 5 TDs.

Let's not forget the trash-talking that inspired TW to smack him in the mouth after last year's wild card game. I dislike the Seahawks a lot.

Speak for yourself. I will resent the very day Richard Sherman dawns the burgundy and gold. I can't stand the guy and I don't care how much talent he has. He's straight up another Terrell Owens - magnified by ten. He will, in time, show himself to be a cancer to whatever locker room he's in.

Lastly, I don't buy the "sticking a microphone in front of a player after an emotional game" excuse. There are plenty of players who have been interviewed after an emotional game who don't cut childish wrestling promos like they're Hulk Hogan. Sherman has showed himself on many occasions. Even after he had "calmed down" and had post game conferences, he still showed his lack of class and immaturity, albeit he wasn't yelling. He's a low life and will continue to act that way until someone really punches his clock (I mean worse than Trent Williams) and he'll keep his flappy gums shut.

If he were a Redskin you'd be all over him saying he should just shut up and play.

I don't mind the smack talk, actually I enjoy. Dexter did it all the time and he's one of my favorites. Just back it up on the field.

Hall use to do it, he would get lit up and wouldn't tackle anyone. Big difference.

If he were a Redskin, I would love him. To me talking trash and acting like a moron every now and then is a part of being a person and an athlete. He has a personality, but lets not act like he is T.O. in San Fran like some here are. I have yet to hear his teammates say they hate playing with him.

Re: Around the NFL Championship Weekend

I thought this was interesting driving into work today. I caught Mary Kay Cabot on the Dan Patrick show who covers the Browns for the Plain Dealer paper, which she's done for a long time apparently. All her responses to Dan's questions about the coaching search and front office were well thought out and gave a good perspective of the whys and hows for the front office actions. Not only that, but her responses were positive about the situation and still neutral in her personal opinion of the FO. I rarely hear that these days from the media, and I listen carefully. I was very impressed. The entire DC media could take a lesson from her and Cleveland situation seem much much worse.
