That's a great point Terry outlines... Campbell can't do any worse.

Brunell throws the fade much better then Ramsey, plus mobility = week 2 starter.

Good Point Mooby......and isn't Ramsey's best friend, OT Jon Jansen our most important player on the O line. How will that make Jansen feel about the team. Jansen was all excited because Ramsey was named the starter, then came the drafting of Campbell and all the fuss, and again Jansen voiced his concern. This could cause a rift between the players.....between those that back Ramsey and cause ill feelings from some of the players about Gibbs. This is exactly what we DO NOT need during DallaSS week a QB controversey

uggggh. Ramsey has every right to want to go. this organization has put him through the grinder, sucked out any of his value and left him with nothing. Ramsey didn't get the chance he was promised and deserved. i feel very sorry for him and at this point want him to try and start over somewhere else, there's way too much bad history here, none of which has been his fault.

as for us, if we are in fact at the same level of the Chicago Bears, then i say we try starting our rookie QB too. anything involving a 36 year old is just a half-assed attempt to salvage a season, and god knows we've done enough of that.

this whole thing really really sucks though.

well, its obvious that more people favor ramsey now, If we're starting brunell, we might as well direct snap to portis 3 times and be ready to punt... or start campbell :/

I feel ripped off, hopefully brunell lights it up and proves he's worth the air he's breathing, but i have my doubts.

I was watching NFL Countdown and heard Mort say that Ramsey wanted to be traded. Mort is one of the more reliable media guys.

How was Ramsey's play against the Bears? 1 INT, 1 lost fumble, and 1 nearly lost fumble I'm I right? And that's all in 1 quarter of football! I think I'll take the switch now than in week 6.

Chad Pennington had six fumbles...guess Herm Edwards should bench for the rest of the season and bring out the back-up. If there was to be a QB switch this season it should be to the future and Jason Campbell, if by week 6 or 8 and the Skins are out of it it is time to look to the future. Already one week and we have complete dissarray at the most important position on the offense and this is purely the fault of Joe Gibbs.

If Gibbs had no confidence in Ramsey he should have traded him the year we picked up Brunell or this offseason. To go all offseason and say that Ramsey was to be the starter only to yank him after a 1 1/4 quarters is ridiculuous. Yet another wasted first round pick, and we still don't know if had the talent to do the job...looks like Trent Green all over again to me.

I agree with a lot of your points - until the Trent Green reference.

I'm still irritated by that one because Trent Green (unlike Ramsey) actually had great numbers and really showed something. We lost him and turned around and traded a boat load of draft picks for Brad Johnson, who basically gave us two years.

I hate losing so many draft picks...

Hopefully we can recoup a 2nd rounder for Ramsey.

There is no way that we will get a second round pick for Ramsey. My guess is that we will get a 4th round pick.
