They have 3 statues in the plaza behind centerfield at Nationals Ballpark that sit on black marble bases. I made the mistake of leaning on one last summer - it seriously hurt like hell and I could imagine that if I'd had more pressure at the contact point it might have left a mark of some kind. Those things get hot as hell!
