I need a doctor's opinion, so naturally my first inclination was to come here. Now I know I'm not a doctor, but I have stayed at a Holiday Inn before, so I am somewhat qualified. Hear me out: If I hock a loogie and it has blood in it, am I correct in presuming something's wrong?

Also, a little backstory, if I have a bloody nose as a result of this dry season my area is in the midst of, and then I hock a bloody loogie immediately afterward, can I chalk said bloody loogie up to allergy season?
