I think this diminishes Madden as a commentator. He's changing jobs yet again, when I'm sure he could continue to do the Monday gig on ESPN if he wanted to. He seems even more like a hired gun, not a part of an announcing team. It also doesn't change the real problem with his telecasts: He won't get the best game his network has to offer, just whatever game is scheduled
