And don't sit there and act like he didn't just do exactly what I said above last week in Seattle. He tried to lay the wood and that guy that plays for Seattle just bounced off him and gained an additional 10 yards. And that's not the first time that's happened. Add in the fact that he doesn't have a pick this season and you can say all you want about his impact, but the facts are showing it's just not there this season. Atogwe has been underwhelming too and that only magnifies the problem.
All that said, do I want him back next season? If I ran the team, I'd tell him to go do whatever he needs to do to be healthy next season, I'd give him a one year deal, and I'd let him know he's got one more chance to show this team he can be an elite player. Because we all know he will want to be paid like an elite player, but I'm not seeing the production to match it so far.

Its good you would tell Laundry that you would give him a 1 year deal if you were in charge. The thing is he is a free agent at the end of the season. So unless we franchise tag him or offer him a contract you wont be getting a 1 year deal from LaRon. It's no way he is going to risk a injury for a 1 year deal. Either we roll the dice and sign him to a long term deal or franchise tag him for trade bait. When LaRon is healthy he is a beast so we just have to keep our fingers cross that he will get healthy this off season and work out with our training staff. We need to keep our players and pay them instead of bring in more Adam Archelettas who are free agent busts.
