Shanahan is a man not a mouse. Some of you guys act like this is such a terrible situation that the FO is near suicidal about it. There are disgruntled employees in every line of business. But Defensewins we live in an era where part of coaching and leading an NFL organization is managing the media perception and properly handling the press. For all of his douchebaggery, Bill Belichick has been brilliant at it. This isn't the day of Vince Lombardi where you can shut the cameras out of the locker room and give some Knute Rockne speech and fire the boys up. Nowadays players tweet, text, blog and everything in between; sometimes during the game. So managing the press is very much a part of how well you prepare, ward off distractions, and focus for an upcoming game.

For all the excitement the new Shanahan/Allen era was supposed to generate for the franchise, it has been completely drained by The Haynesworth reality show: He loves me, He loves me not.

Another thing, and this isn't directed at you, but I keep hearing we need to get something of value for Haynesworth. What a joke! At this point if the Titans give up any picks and player for Fat Al, it would be the steal of the century.
