The REAL deciding Factors...
I have read for a while now our multiple discussions with WRs and CBs. I am not sure that's the key. I look at the two teams in the superbowl this year. As CB's each team had basically rookies, for WR the pats had quite a few "B" players, and the losing team went out and got a superstar. I am not sold in the idea that those two positions are critical to the success of a team.
However from analyzing the Pats and Eagles it seems to come down primarily to a few things: 1. Excellent QB play 2. Stability of Coaching Staff 2a. Excellent OL play 3. Scoring Defense With Jansen's return and the addition of Rabach {sp}, it looks to be a much better year. We actually have depth now. Gibbs is Sticking around. This is VERY important because the players don't have to keep learning schemes. The Eagles and Pats were 2 and 3 in the league in scoring defense, skins were 5th. MOST (not all) of the teams in the playoffs had very good play at the QB position throughout the season. So it comes down to Ramsey. I don't expect Brady or Donavan performance, but if he can be in the top 15 in the league, we have a very good shot at the playoffs. my 2 cents.
