Re: Haynesworth back to the Titans?

I'm just a bit confused as to how hard tweeking any contracts or making a trade would be...

#1- can we not, with agreement with AH redo his contract basically extending the remaining of his money owed him over a lengthier period of time which would make him a more interesting commodity?

I mean if AH is not interested in staying or playing in our new 3-4 defense then he would make some accomidations in order to get traded.

#2- could we not find a team who would be interested in him and him in them and make a new contract for the new team with AH's approval and trade him to them afterward?

I would think as long as AH is wanting a new contract in order to be traded then it should be fine. All the time owners redo contracts basically adding money and screwing themselves in having to pay more over a longer period. Is it not possible for the player to accept a new contract or want one in which he makes slightly less each year then his original contract in order to facilitate a trade?
